Welcome to Project Reality
Project Reality, a non-profit agency founded in 1970, offers a variety of services designed to provide comprehensive, therapeutic treatment to patients with substance abuse problems. We view substance abuse as a chronic disease with complex biological, psychological, and social components. All admissions are voluntary and confidential and each patient is provided with an individualized treatment plan.
We are glad you are here to learn more about us. Enjoy your visit and come back soon!
Mission Statement
To provide empirically driven substance abuse treatment to severely and chronically substance dependent adults, and to provide prevention services that are designed to ameliorate risk factors and enhance resiliency factors in adults, youth and children. We use an integrated approach to treatment and prevention services that addresses all of the biopsychosocial aspects of addiction in order to strengthen the quality of personal, family and community life. The geographical boundaries at the Salt Lake program are the greater Salt Lake County area and the boundaries at the Provo program span Utah County.
Vision
Project Reality’s vision for the treatment program is to ameliorate the suffering of individuals, families and the community through providing cost effective and accessible substance abuse treatment and prevention services. As a part of this vision Project Reality seeks to develop a high quality professional staff that can provide state of the art prevention and treatment services to individuals addicted or at risk for substance abuse as a part of the public provider network.
